"What the heck is an assault magazine? Are people with AR-15s and AK-47s now throwing their fully loaded magazines at people? This is so far over the top it’s rather difficult to take seriously, but we must because these people are the ones framing the argument and if we do not correct the misuse of language, and yes I am one that is looking to correct my own in regards to this matter, then we will inevitably lose the argument and with that the fight over our rights."

Rumer mill has it that Wally world pulled thier Bushmasters today, Dicks pulled most of thier semi-autos yesterday, and Cheaper than Dirt no longer sells guns at all. Anybody got any facts?

Cheaper than dirt went up to $59 on Magpul mags, then went down to $29. They were $20. They say they suspended online gun sales until they could get caught up on orders and review selling techniques with their council until further notice. In other words, they're waiting for the pricese to go up and then their guns will magically appear again. Dick's pulled all "modern rifles" as they put it.

If you can't ban guns, regulate ammunition to extinction by requiring a unique serial number on each bullet. It's the dimocrat way ... :eew:

I am only speaking for myself as a lifetime avid hunter. I have never had a need for any more capacity than 5 shots. Normally 3 has been the maximum I have ever had need of. I really like the internal 5 shot magazine most of all. I do target practice before season to make sure my guns are dialed in correctly. I challange myself to make accurate shots, not
just pointing and pulling the trigger.

I live withen 3 miles of a rifle range where law enforcement uses and
when I here those zip zip zip that puts fear in me. I would not want to be in front of one of those guns. I do not, and will never have anything like they shoot.

I know many love to go to the range and shoot various types of guns, but I
have always wondered why all the high capacity guns? Just reload more has always been my thought.

I do not condem these guns. It is how you use them that counts. Like the old saying "Guns don't kill, PEOPLE kill"

The large clips and drums are sort of like a car with more that 75 HP, why do you or most people need more than that to just ride down the road ?? I will bet the farm however that you have owned a car with more than 250 HP with ability to attain speeds of over 100 plus miles per hour and why would any person EVER WANT such a vehicle ???

the difference is a car with 300 hp will most likely not kill 20+ people. A high capacity mag will.

I say that a person in a car with the will CAN kill 20 people. The magazine has no inherent life to itself so, like the car, it can't kill anything without some idiot pulling the trigger.

I just purchased a AR 15 yesterday not because I want to hunt with it but just because I cannot take being told what kind of gun they think we should be able to own.I have been a life long deer hunter and would bet I have spent more time hunting than 90% of other hunters and have never seen anyone hunting with a AR 15. BUT, when they see they can take these it will be the tip of the iceberg.

The car with 300 hp can kill 20+ people if it is steered in the right direction of the right group of people !

I'm sure that our forefathers who gave us the right to bear arms, did not have squirrel hunting in mind...

Bags of fertilizer wiped out the abortion clinic in ok.
Box cutters and knives brought down the world trades.
Locked houses are broken into daily.
Banning arms is only gonna make it worse.

Buds guns is a reputable gun dealer FYI.
