CapeFear, Hope this is all about nothing, however Obama has been against owning guns his entire career, Always voting for gun control of all types .. With him appointing (Anti-Gun) Joe Biden to head up the new group to review gun control and report back in 30 days, that speaks volumes in any thinks persons Mind ......
I support the Second amendment. Only a political fool would actually propose GUN CONTROL and it would only happen over my dead body and my guns. So please support the gun industry and chicken shit politicians that feed off them and support AR's ... not just hunting weapons and defense weapons.
We need to arm the principals and teachers with assault weapons so they can have a fair fight. One armed guard at school can't be everywhere at once and an AR can take out 20 kids in 2 minutes.
We need AR armed guards on each school bus and at each bus stop and some to walk the kids home from the bus stop. At the malls and sporting events. In most parts of Mexico there are 2-3 Military dressed guards with AR's at most intersections. It looks really cool. We should make the US look more like a country run by the military.
Next week I am adding an assault rifle to my arsenal now that I realize there are so many out there, and 10,000 rounds. I'm also trying to find some hand held rocket launchers and maybe a nice tank. If the sh*t hits the fan I would advise that you to also get equally armed up because I will be coming for you and your stuff.
Well seahappy .. you might want to get your facts straight. Last time up Obama approved the continuation of the availability of assault weapons, no personnel checks at gun shows and newly added the ability to carry weapons into public parks and sporting events.

Arm teachers and principals...really?? You've been watching too many action movies. Do you really believe a 2nd grade teacher is capable of dispatching a gunman armed with an AR hell bent on killing children and himself. Most teachers are not equipped or trained for such action and most don't want to be. Not everybody is cut out for Seal Team 6 action.

I'm a member of the NRA, completely support the 2nd amendment and own multiple weapons but I see no reason why we can't work towards some solutions to these all to frequent and horrific mass murders.
Very well said. I'd gladly give in some to help prevent these senseless acts....not saying giving up my guns, just willing to be open to come to some sort of balance. The measures taken NEED to make sense and actually work though. Something needs to change.
