Who out there has got a youth going tomorrow. Will be my son's last go at youth season this year. Roosted some nice birds yesterday so hoping they will not be far. Hardest time of year for me, fish or hunt.
Mine have aged out. Will have to wait a week. But fishing or hunting, time with kids is not to be missed. Hope you did well today.
Took mine, hunted till 4pm with no luck, only handful of gobbles!!! Hens are everywhere, I found one in SC Thurs that took me an 1.30 to kill!!!
No love from the turkey's but what a great morning to be in the woods. Set up on a good flock of birds we had been roosting only to have a bobcat scatter them and then do a stalk on our decoys, no bird but it was fun to watch that cat come all the way across the field to realize those birds are not real. Have the rest of the week to dedicate to getting him one and then the hard decision of fins or feathers.
