My son caught this at AR-370 in 50ft of water @ 55F water temp using squid on a bottom rig. The fish has what appear to be barbels but they come out of the body, not the head. Paddle-like tail. Light brown color except white on underside.

agree that it's a hake. I caught one once on the captain stacy on an overnight trip. good eating.
