Thanks gang for this forum. I'm new to going outside, and of all the stuff I still need to learn, I feel like I'm going to be struggling with the fish ID part. Not that I've been catching a lot just yet... but I've had to scratch my head on a couple that we pulled up. Threw em right back based on my ignorance and lack of funds to contribute to the State....
I've seen what appears to be a decent ID book at Bass Pro... I cant remember right now the title... I searced at home by isbn # some time ago... Do you folks have any suggestions on a good source for educating myself in the fish ID subject??
Thanks in advance!! Stew

I don't know how far ya'll dug into the link I posted but what I am trying to do there is post pictures of the actual fish.

So we have the drawing of the fish....then we have several photos of the REAL fish as it looks when it comes out of the water.

Again, actual photo is much better than the drawings IMHO. Thanks Capt Dave for your efforts!
