I’m new so I might have just gotten lucky but why not just use ballyhoo instead? I had to do that last week when I couldn’t find any cigar minnows and it worked out well. Is there really a big difference?

I actually like the ballyhoo better. Break the bill off and purge the poop. They last a lot longer than cigars bc they don’t wash out like cigars.

If out of OKI, Southport, CBI. hit Mt. Dirfy's and jig up all you want. Also some of the biggest Spade fish I've ever seen.

Could you share where you ordered um from? Everywhere I've called said they're done for the year and none to be had....EXCEPT Bionic Baits has a shipment coming in from an international supplier that's due soon and they will have availability ... I spoke with Chris there 945-941-4665....their wholesaler in NC is Cape Point Bait in Beaufort, so hopefully they'll have some for the fall comm fishing....
