There doesn't seem to be alot of interest in fishing offshore up this wayout of Hatteras, from what I have read on this site so far. It's now September and we've had a pretty good wahoo bite as of late. The fishing will only get better as Fall build's in. We offer a good boat and gear. We are situated in a location that allows the boat just steps away from the motels, restraunts, and other convience's. Blackfins, yellowfins, kings, dolphin and wahoo should start to increase in numbers as the weather changes. There are alway's those tasty bottom critters around too. Nothing not to love about Hatteras, if you're about fishing. Give me a shout if you have any interest or questions. If you've got a moment , check out our website (pic's have been updated from the last couple trips).
Sea Power Charters.com Google seems to work best. Frank

Don't mean this as a whining post, but wahoo are my absolute favorite fish to catch. Have several group's that are waiting on the tuna season. It'll come with cooler weather and sea temp's, the yellowfins will come (as will the blackfin's in greater numbers). If we end up with a mild winter like last year, it'll be a no-show for bluefin's (that would be my bet anyway). But if it's a moderate to cold winter, better put your "big boy" pant's on, a 250lb bluefin on a stand up 50 rig, is gonna be all you want!!!!!! Yes we have a fighting chair (dang pretty one at that) and will use it, but we have had a ball with those guy's on stand-up gear!!!!!!! I absolutely refuse to put up "come on" false post's. I will give it to ya straight.

I have intentionaly "laid low" this summer, I have used every trip to "tweak" the fishability of this boat. I will tell anyone that "she's as close, as I can make her". Little thing's like a rod holder here, bridge pole there, extra clip "in-board" of the corner's all add up. So far what I can report is, that we have not had to cut back on one line yet, because of sea condition's. She's ready and able. If you can put up with me, you're gonna have a good day. Picture's prove, what I am too proud to say. Check out the webstie, it's all there. Plus there's plenty of folk's that have fished with me around here to call BS, if I say anything untrue. And that's just how I like it! Frank

seapower....
as much as we love this site, the majority of people on here seem to be from MHC south. Still a great site to swap fish stories and learn from one another though.

We fish out of Hatteras most of the time as well.
