I tried to PM you but for some reason it bounced.
Hey Bill,
Thank you for your advice. I certainly am the type to seek out advice from others especially since I finally figured out that in the grand scheme of things, I don't know very much. What I am is an avid fisherman. I have been my entire life so I do have a fair amount of experience. I believe that experience replaces nothing and nothing replaces experience. lol Believe me, I am aware that it is easy to find users. I am more old school and was raised by people who believe in fair play. I am also a retired military man so I tend to value genuine friendship, honesty, fair play, and treating others as I would like to be treated. I had a person I have know for years that I was fishing with but for some reason that I do not know, he suddenly quite communicating with me. I have learned he is fishing with a commercial fisherman. He is not the friend that I thought he was. I am a person that is straight forward so a person doesn't have to guess what I am thinking. I guess I am saying this to let you know that maybe we could talk about it and you and I could become fishing partners. The only way that I know whether it would work or not is simply to try it. If it doesn't work out, then at least we give it a try. I know one thing for sure, if we don't try, it won't happen. If you have interest in discussing it ot meeting, I am open to it. My phone number is 336-689-7000 cell or 919-457-0950 home. If you are not interested, then I certainly wish you great success in fishing and in life.

You might want to try Cape Fear Anglers. Great way to learn new techniques and find fishing friends.
