I am trying to go wahoo fishing this Thursday but I need 2-3 more people to make it happen. We will depart out of Wrightsville Beach NC and spend the entire day out there. If the troll bite isn't happening we will bottom fish BUT we are certainly going to give the troll bite some time...
Preferably looking for experienced anglers, but if your not an expert thats okay I can give you pointers....no first timers though.
I haven't fished in almost a month so I am not sure what gas prices are but it's probably going to be 200$ for gas money. My boat is a 36 yellowfin with triple 300 Verados. 200$ for a full day in the gulf stream on my boat is a DEAL and I am tired of people trying to tell me otherwise.
A couple basic rules on my boat.
1. We are out there to fish and have fun! no whining! BUT, constructive criticism is good.
2. We re gonna spend the entire day out there don't be that guy that wants to call it quits at 11:00. It simply is just not feasible to go through all the trouble, time effort and money to go out there and fish for like 4 hours...
3. When we return to the dock nobody leaves until the fish, tackle, and boat are cleaned.
4. Beer drinking is encouraged! Make sure you can handle your alcohol though. (I have never had a problem with this before but I figured I ll throw it in anyways)
5. it s easier to just make everyone bring their own food/drinks so bring what you need.
It s gonna be flat lets go kill something! I think this cold snap is gonna help turn the bite on :).
If Thursday is not going to work for you but you still see yourself as a valuable asset to my crew shoot me a message anyways I am always looking for new people to fish with! Sometimes it s tough on weekdays to find people to go. If you fish when you want and not when you can then you're gonna get to go like twice a year lol.
