I would like to learn more about Buzzards Bay and that entire area. I find my self not venturing too far in there for fear of oyster beds and getting left high and dry on a falling tide. If someone who fishes there often has a spot on their boat I would love to tag along, I would split expenses.

Lot's of great guides that I see that fish the bays, the flats & it's interior:
Capt. Lee Parsons / Capt. Jeff Wolfe / Capt. Robert Schoonmaker / Capt. Seth Vernon, are just a few that.

Would not recommend me. Here's why
Think of it as a learning experience. More like deja vu, all over again ......... ICMcimg2726_476.jpghewes_hi_and_dry_003red_170.jpg

This is what I am afraid of, but I am more concerned with oyster beds and what not. Every time I head out and try to explore I always find oyster beds. My keel is not a fan.

Don't think of it as a negative, just as more time to survey the high and low spots in the area.

And a good time to do some wade fishing and clamming!
