Going to be staying in Manteo May 25th thru May 30th. We are from Ohio and are looking for any tips, advice and knowledge that you would be willing to share. We are able to launch from OI or Hatteras. Pretty sure we are set on gear, just need a little jump start. Our boat is a 25' Fountain CC with a 140gallon fuel tank to travel. Trolling/jigging and inshore/offshore.

The members of this website are extremely helpful on subjects that they have knowledge of. This website is primarily focused on the Souteastern part of NC and Northeastern part of SC, therefore few people fish OI on this website. Oregon Inlet is 175 miles and north. Also the forum you have posted in is not viewed as much as others. I would suggest that you repost this question in the "On the Hill" forum, but even then your responses will be minimal. You might ask this question on other more broad websites like NCWaterman or RedDrumtackle.com or outerbanksfishing.com
Good luck and stay safe. That is one of the most dangerous inlets in the World.
