Level3, Porcha, Flyguy, and myself were talking about potentially chartering one of the Morehead City head boats for a jigging only trip. Dates could possibly be September or October but before I put in the work I wanted to see if we could actually get enough people interested. I would like to limit the amount of people to around 20-30. Hopefully we can get the pricing to be around $200-300 a person. If you would be interested please let me know and if there is enough interest I will get more details. Would be awesome to get a bunch of jigging guys on one boat for some awesome NC fishing!

There is also a post on 360tuna to gather interest. Please let me know if you would like to join us. Projected date is 10/26/14.

Sure is quiet here in jiggerville... lol Anyways. I'm down for going and it looks like we have around 12-15 from over at 360tuna that are interested at this point. Throw your name in if you're interested. I know a lot of you guys have probably seen jiggers just killing the fish but are intimidated about doing it. It's a different type of fishing. It takes work... no pain no gain. It is however very rewarding. This would be a good opportunity for you to see a bunch of jiggers first hand and get some experience yourself. Jigging is a very productive form of fishing. Many species can be caught on jigs. Hell, I've got 2 North Carolina saltwater records on jigs. Honestly, the first time an Amberjack crushed my jig mid water column, I was hooked for life. No form of fishing is as awesome as you jigging up hard and fish just busting you. It's AWESOME!
