Myself and a friend have been going out of the Holden Beach area on another friends boat the last couple of years. All together we have been out 3 or 4 times fishing both the stream and closer for kings and dolphin. Our experience is limited to those trips and we would like to try to get out more and try to get as many trips under our belt and learn as much as possible. There isnt a specific date we are trying to go out at the moment, due to a busy schedule, but just testing the water as to what the general cost and equipment needed was when accompanying someone on their boat(if this were to occur). Ideally we would like to go out of either the Wilmington or Murrells Inlet area. LIke I said this is just a general inquiry and trying to get an idea what to expect...

Thanks for any and all information in advance.

Sounds like carpooling to me. Government wants us to conserve. People do it everyday on public roads....why not public waters.

All I am implying is that when my buddies get together we usually split the costs of the trip....no money being made....just trying to enjoy the sport the only way we can in this economy by helping split the costs. The numbers I provided is what it usually costs me to fish for a day with four people which is the ideal number for my boat. Just wanted to help a newby out...like I was helped out when I was a newby. Car Pooling is a great term....i like it
