Hope everybody had a decent winter despite the cold, I'm ready to put it away for warmer weather!!
Moved up this way this past spring and really was too busy getting adjusted to do much fishing or make any contacts until the fall, did good on the trout and drum but all my fishing buddies are down in the MHC/Wilmington areas. Grew up fishing down there, a lot of bottom fishing/speed jigging with some trolling offshore and everything in between near shore.
I'd like to make some friends up with this way to fish with and learn more about this fishery. From cobia to yellowfin down to havin a buddy to surf fish with I'm open to all of it and everything in between.
As far as hopping aboard with anybody I'm obviously more than happy to split gas/ice/bait expenses, have my own tackle for everything except trolling, happy to help clean the boat, clean fish, etc after a long day, just want the opportunity to get out there and learn.
If anything works out to go with anybody on a regular basis I'm happy to help contribute towards terminal tackle cost, buy extra lures etc. Nothing in this game is free!
