Well after missing last year, I can't stand it and myself and a bunch of my buddies are going back to Panama again! :w00t: We booked some prime dates in April of next year for by far the best fishing I've ever done in my life. Everytime I go the fishing is absolutely off the charts. Huge schools of yellowfin tuna busting topwater poppers, huge pargos, blue and black marlin, and plenty of roosterfish. We're trying to get the lodge all to ourselves so we can have a group of all Americans and just cool people that are serious about fishing. We have room for a few more if any of you are interested. The day I saw this posted I start thinking I need to make this trip. Now comes "how to I convince my wife of 41 years that I need to go and spend money that we don't have on this trip?"
So I said "How would you like to Panama" she gives me this "golden retriever" stare. So I start to explain the trip. She says "listen you just lost a friend who took the same trip. You are not getting any younger, your retired, you love to fish, why don't you go?"
Now I'm looking like a golden retriever. "I said are you sure?" She said yes go!
So either I am very lucky or she wants to get rid of me for a week. But really who cares I'm going to Panama

I can't wait for April! I'm ready to get back to Panama for a vacation. Just got this report from the lodge. Not bad for Jan. Fishing is only going to get better. Still have room if anyone wants to go.
