Hello everyone. New to the site, state and fishing. Active Duty Navy Corpsman stationed aboard Camp Lejeune residing in Sneads Ferry. I do not have a boat; mainly looking for tips on areas where to fish with walk up access. I'm not here to steal anyone's honey hole or disrespect anyone. Just a fellow service member wanting to learn how to fish and enjoy myself in the outdoors. I'm from Georgia so I've fished before for mainly catfish. This saltwater game is new to me and I am excited to learn. If anyone has any tips or places I can go to fish please feel free to contact me. Thank you and have a blessed day!

#2 Welcome to eastern North Carolina!
You didn't catch any of those catfish in the Lumber River did you?
Go here www.militaryappreciationday.org, join up(it's free) and between this great site and MAD you'll find some appreciative, patriotic fishermen!

No problem. My pleasure.
Thank you so much for the welcome! Loving it here so far.
I caught those catfish out of the Chattahoochee River.
