If anyone is interested, trying to get a overnight sword fish trip planned for this year. I've never been but would like to try. I know we gotta run wwo, but I'm game. Got two bunks on the boat so I think 4 ppl total would be comfortable.

We probably have read the same posts. The ones I read were from a while ago as well. Sounds like RODEOV has some experience. Let's bring this trip to fruition and catch us a sword sometime this year.

The guys in Florida don't use long line squids. Baitmasters whole large squid should be fine. Only other gear you need is lights, leaders, hooks and weights. And some empty milk jugs.

^^^^fresh baits. Whole, large squid in good shape. 4 lines stacked at different depths. We used balloons. Large green glow sticks, 150-200 lb leader, welded eye hooks 10/0, which I still have. Deeper sets on 80's, 50 wides work too.And a big ass fish bag
