Back before I had a boat I liked to go to the north end by the condos and fish fresh shrimp in the suds. Big black drum there. Also, I used medium to large sized sand fleas for big mullet and the pompano with be around to eat them too. Casting a mirrolure isn't a bad idea either. And also, I used a new penny gulp shrimp and caught more than 20 flounder one morning. The flounder were super close. I started casting long and got bit right close to where I was standing in a couple inches of water. The rest of the morning I flipped the new penny gulp shrimp just no more than 10 feet like a jig n pig. Cleaned their clock that morning.
Thank you so much for the great advice. I've heard great things about those sand fleas. I'll have to get a hold of some and try my luck at those mullets. (Fine eating)
