Sorry James to hear the bad news. Must have been in a small car where they couldn't take the rods as well. Hope you dad gets them back!

These were taken from the Enochville Area. Neighbor said it was 2 young guys in early 20's associated with a black jeep cherokee.

If anyone sees any of this stuff for sale in Kannapolis or Rowan County Pawn shops I would appreciate you calling the Rowan County Sheriff's Office.

If anyone is near the Webb Road Flea Market in Salisbury that is a good place to look as well. I have been checking Craigs List and EBAy as well.

Thanks again.

I wanted to post an update on this. On Monday of last week I received a call from a FPT member that he thought he saw some of my dad's stuff for sale on Facebook. He texted me a link and sure enough it was dad's. I sent this info to the deputy working the case. He was a well known criminal in Rowan County. He and his accomplice were arrested and dad got most of his stuff back. Some of it is broken and will need to be replaced but most is in its pretheft condition. To the guy who purchased all the reels from the thief and then had them taken from RCSO.....don't buy stolen goods. Especially from someone who anybody knows is shady upon first glance. He's out 400 bucks now.

This case ended with almost the best possible outcome.

To the FPT member who I have intentionally left anonymous thank you and you have a free fishing trip coming next time you are in town. We have spoken numerous times and I can't wait.

Thank you FPT.
