Stolen At Sneads Ferry 05/06/2015

Stolen from silver chevy pickup truck Wednesday 05/06 at approximately 6:45 am at the Hardee's on highway 172 Sneads Ferry.

Two 7' Star Plasma series spinning rods (new)

One 7' 6" St Croix tidemaster series rod (new)

One Fin-Nor model OS55 offshore spinning reel (2 years old) attached to one of the star rods and rigged with pink and white cobia jig with pink plastic 4" grub.

One Penn Spinfisher V 4500 size spinning reel (new) fishing reel has small white label attached to rotor which reads: #10 5/15

$200 reward for information leading to recover and or prosecution. Contact Lt. Scott at the Onslow county sheriff department @ (910) 989-4057

man that sucks. if i ever leave my rods in the back of my truck or boat i always park where i can watch my truck and boat while i eat.

Seeing more of these posts and more and more of this type of thing happening. Same here, always watch your rig, sucks to have to do that but reality these days. Fishing trip could be ruined in a heartbeat!

Thieves use to steal fishing equipment out of boats parked beside or behind Hardees on Hwy 70 in Morehead City. Hate to hear someone stole your stuff. May they be caught and dealt with one way or another.

It is so aggravating when I see someone get their stuff stolen. When I was about 17, I had 10 rods and about $300 dollars worth of stuff stolen out of the back of my truck. Made me sick because I worked my butt off to acquire this stuff. A couple of them were $100 bass rods. Since then I watch my stuff like a hawk and I have personal property insurance.

Were they star kf rods. There are a pair on eastern nc craigslist right now. Hope you find them.

Did you check around for cameras that hopefully recorded them taking you stuff? Hope you find them!
