This is pretty much a duplicate of the Craigslist post I have up about it (linked below). I assume this boat is long gone, but on the off chance the boat is still around, here's the info. I appreciate you taking the time to look it over.

On 6/20/2014 I had stolen from my house in the Silva Terra neighborhood near Monkey Junction a boat, motor and trailer. I'm offering $2000 for information leading to the recovery of this equipment and the arrest of the people responsible.

- 2004 XPRESS VX18CC Aluminum boat, HID# JBC55221B404, Registration Number NC7074WW. The name on the side of the boat is "Dawg Pound", in small letters just below the gunnel near the center of the boat. The color is gunmetal grey. It has a small center console and 10 total stainless rod holders throughout the boat.
- 2004 Alumaweld galvanized trailer, VID# 5HETV22114F122436, plate # BK63879
- 2004 Yamaha F115TLRC motor, Serial Number 68VL1029814

Probably better to get the insurance by now as she has probably been stripped if you find her... or she is long gone. Always sad to hear of thieves!

They found this yesterday in the Still Meadow Village apartment complex less than 2 miles from my house. I guess it had been there since last week and the crew just noticed that it didn't have a parking sticker on it, so they called it in and found out it was stolen. It's barely been touched; they didn't even clean it out. Nothing is gone except the two locks and a faded old console cover that probably blew off when they towed it. They didn't even take the spare stainless prop out of the bow compartment. I am so lucky I can't believe it.

Nobody I would associate with would pull a prank like this. If by prank you mean some kids screwing around, that is certainly possible and if so I'm lucky it was that rather than somebody who was serious.

As for locks I had two on it, including a normal padlock on the ball latch and one of those ball devices with a big u-bolt that goes over the top. They weren't left at the house and they were no longer on the boat, so they either cut them off and took them or they towed it with chains and cut them off down the road.

I live right there behind that complex in Johnson Farms. Crazy it ended up there. Someone might have been stashing it and letting it cool down before coming back for it. Glad you got it back.

The shortest trip from Silva Terra to Still Meadow is right through Johnson Farms. If they went straight there through your neighborhood they were probably there in 5 minutes.
