My two storage bins at Cap'n Josh's Dry Storage in "downtown" Smyrna were recently broken into along with many others at the same facility.
I recently moved into the area and had a lot of valuable merchandise in those storage bins. The thieves hit the jackpot when they broke in!
Some of the stolen items:
Like new 300PSI Troy Built pressure washer
Speedaire 20 gal portable air compressor with hose and fittings
250W portable generator
My Late Brother's upright mechanic's tool chest and hand tools
If you have any insight about the break in, or have seen any of this equipment for sale, then please contact me, or better yet, the Carteret County Sheriff's Dept.
I am familiar with the recent series of storage area burglaries around the area by a gang of professional thieves and I sincerely hope that they are the ones responsible and NOT a group of locals....BUT.... I have my doubts!
