Appreciate all the kind words and offers to borrow gear, even from people I don't know. Very kind. In addition to the public comments I've had plenty of pm's, texts, and phone calls from friends offering to lend gear. Great site full of great people. Thank you. I mean it. Helps restore my faith in humanity :wtg: Hell, Stackchaser even dropped off some gear this afternoon against my will. So at least I have stuff to fish with while the detectives look for my crap. Thanks Stack :hail:

Not trying to start something. But make sure that you check how stack set up the rod. He has a tendency to miss a few guides. :lmao:

if this were to happen then you would close the revolving door, and that would put a lot of people out of work. that wouldn't be a bad thing

Time for one of these on a motion detector. Then track the blood trail from their ears. Call me, I'll bring the guns. We're offshore fishermen, the body/bodies will never be found. We'll be like Sgt. Shultz

Make sure you gut the body and slice open the larger parts in order to ensure it stays on the bottom!

Keep you eyes peeled on Craigslist in the area and for Eastern NC. You may get lucky.

Sorry to hear that, but if you really want to find your stuff you need to look for it yourself. Keep checking pawn shops and craigslist. My rods got stolen about a year ago, including a couple of penn internationals (easy to identify). I started looking late after I figured out the detectives were just waiting of reports from pawn shops, who are crooked. When I started acting like a customer at the pawn shops they were very helpful. When I came in looking for stolen stuff, they didn't have time to talk. I think one pawn shop had actually just sold my stuff by the time I got there but didn't have any records of course.

Pawn shops have been known to take down what you are looking for (say wanting to purchase), but they don't currently have on hand, but then call you in a week because someone just happened to pawn what you need...Crooks! :pistols:
