Got call from neighbor today and said there was a guy walking thru the neighborhood looking into boats parked in everyones yard. Got home and BCSO was coming buy and stopped to see if I had been hit. After checking I was lucky this time. Officer said they are taking batteries, gas tanks, electronics, and small outboards. They got my neighbors batteries and 6 gal tank 2 weeks ago. The neighbor that seen this guy today described him as 20-25 YO, White male, Camo coat with hood, blue pants, he was met by a white Toyata van, neighbor was unable to get tag number due to fact he has bad case of gout and can't get around well. Please keep your eyes out for these low lifes. This was in the area behind Food Lion on Milliken St.

Email from neighbor last night. The house three doors down from mine got broken into in Holden Beach. The back door was smashed and the alarm went off so nothing was stolen. I was down there fishing and did not hear the alarm. Police are saying there are a ton of break ins around holden and supply. If you have anything valuable, lock it up tight as there is a serious theft ring running around this area.
Broke into my barn and stole all offshore gear on oct 30th at buccaneer hills about 15k worth of stuff plus john deere 46'' cut mower, club car golf cart and 70hp off neighbors boat all same night. Everything was chained or locked in barn. One of the neighbors saw a white cargo van cruising around that nite. Bryan

A couple of the reports have stated a white van in the area. I've heard toyota and cargo van. Sounds like a basis to keep an eye out for.
