Consumer Product Safety Commission and Zebco Recall Kids’ Fishing Poles WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 13)  The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with W.C. Bradley/Zebco Holdings Inc., this week announced a voluntary recall of about 1.5 million children’s fishing poles because paint on the poles contains lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately.
