To honor his wife and to give back to the organization that helped the family through this time, Mike Tynch (along with family friends and a number of community supporters) is hosting the 1st Annual Jodi E. Tynch Memorial King Mackerel Tournament. The tournament will be held the Saturday before what would have been her 36th birthday. Jodi E. Tynch lost her battle with cancer in February 2009 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter in Wilmington, NC.
This is a one day tournament with proceeds benefiting Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter. A Captain’s Meeting will be held 6/26 at David’s Deli on Wrightsville Beach and the tournament will be held 7am-4pm on Saturday, June 27th. All boats must check in and weigh in by 4pm at Mott’s Channel Seafood. Awards will be presented and dinner served at 6pm at David’s Deli.
PRIZES: First Place: 25% – Second Place: 15% – Third Place: 10% – Fourth Place: $200 – Fifth Place: GoGas Card
