The subcommittee will discuss the five permit elevations (Tomaselli, Onslow County; Carolina Coast and Lakes, Perquimans County; Jim Owens, Currituck County; Scott, Paquotank County; Bain, New Hanover County). The subcommittee will also receive updates on several projects.
The committee will receive updates on the Coastal Habitat Protection Plan (CHPP). The MFC approved their CHPP implementation plan with the changes recommended by the committee.
The Habitat and Water Quality Committee will receive an update on the SHA Committee.
The committee will be given presentations on the sewage spill in Hewletts Creek, New Hanover County.
The committee will also receive an update on the Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuarine Program.
