MARINE FISHERIES COMMISSION TO MEET FEBRUARY 2-4, 2005
Morehead City – The Marine Fisheries Commission will meet February 2-4 at Shell Island, Wrightsville Beach, NC. The meeting is open to the public.
On February 2, the Commission will hold a public meeting starting at 7:00 p.m. where the public is invited to discuss any fisheries issues.
On February 3-4, the Commission will hold a business meeting starting at 9:00 a.m. on February 3rd and 8:30 a.m. on February 4th.
The main issues for consideration are:
· Adoption of the Southern Flounder Fisheries Management Plan
· Commenting on National Marine Fishery Service proposed rules regarding Bottlenose Dolphin
· Nominations for the Mid Atlantic Fishery Management Council
