Sea Turtle Bycatch Advisory Committee The MFC Sea Turtle Bycatch Advisory Committee (AC) will meet on Tuesday July 12, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Institute of Marine Sciences upstairs seminar room, Morehead City. The Institute is located on the east side of the Division of Marine Fisheries Building. The committee will receive a MFC update, an update on the data request to NMFS and will briefly review the federal mandates, current management, and strandings data section of the fact-finding document and then move on to the fisheries characterization section.
The committee will continue preparation of a fact-finding document. The Natural History Section has been approved, and the Management and Strandings Sections have been tentatively approved with inclusion of the final draft report.
