There were planes in the air yesterday and dogs on the ground last night….as far as know…nothing was found but “The search for Greg Mickey continues” There will be a Prayer Service at 5:00pm at Kure Memerial Lurthen Chuch (Behind Big Daddies) in Kure Beach. Please plan to attend. There will be a Plane going up tomorrow to search an Eddy that has been IDed and we are looking for a LARGE boat (Because of the seas) that would be interested in taking part in a search of another area. The search for Greg Mickey continues. The reports I have been given include….Divers visiting the Dive Site off of Frying Pan Tower Yesterday found a dive belt and BCD.
Yesterday a plane off the North End of Oak Island spotted a diving mask in the water about 100 yds off the North Tip of the island.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE If you fish in this area…..From Morehead City all the way to SC line…..PLEASE put a spotter on the bow of your boat every day you go out though this weekend.
If you fish in the Southport Area…..Please keep an extra eye out there arlong the North Side of Oak Island!!
The Wilmington King Mackerel Tourney is this weekend…..If you know someone that is planning on Fishing in it….PLEASE make them aware of this information. Let’s try to bring some clousure to this local family.

The search for Greg Mickey continues The search for Greg Mickey continues. The seas have come down drastically, and that is good news. A number of boats will be heading out tomorrow to continue the search. “Details” will be out for sure & they will be monitoring Channel 16 & 68. If any club members are going out, let them know or send me an e-mail We need your help. Spread the word. Capt Rich Admin NOTE…. Come on Guys….This is ONE OF US HERE! GET on the Phone….GET IN THE BOAT…..BREAK OUT THE CC FOR FUEL…LET’S FIND THIS GUY! You would want us looking for you wouldn’t you? Alright…Want to help…Call Capt. Rich!!!! cell # 233-4069 This is a pic from the data from to coast guard and the bouy they had in the water….it is a BEST GUESS only…. Link to a full size image here…. I JUST got off the phone with the other diver….(I know him TOO close)….He thinks North West! 33 40 and 77 30 ish He said that was the direction he was traveling. On a personal note….Before I spoke to the CG this afternoon….My thought was North as well. I was thinking between the tower and WR-2…by this time….north of Twin Wrecks and South of WR-2.
