My 9 year old decided last year he wanted to learn to shoot a shotgun. He's killed lots of deer and several turkeys but wingshooting is different. It took me a while to find a shotgun to fit his length of pull but I found the Mossberg 510 mini pump 20 guage and it was on then. Beginning this summer we shot skeet in the pasture every Sunday. Started him right behind the trap and moved him up to full crossers as his skill level increased over a few months. The practice payed off and he summed it up best by saying "dove hunting is sure a lot more fun now that I can hit 'em". He ended up limiting out both days this weekend. Enjoyed watching him scratch them down.
