Heard of a few good hunts only one kill!!!! Where I was birds have the tight lip!!!!! Hens galore I think has them quiet!!!!!! The gobbling has been on roost, then quiet on ground for the most part!!!!!

We saw plenty of toms. My 14 year old got his first turkey in about 5 minutes into hunt. 21.5lbs and 9.25" beard. The 12yo wouldn't pull trigger on two toms at 10yds :wall:!! Gotta work on the gun shyness!image_814.jpg

NWTF sponsored a youth hunt in Columbus County. 21 kids participated, 12 turkeys harvested. I thought that was pretty good.

I didn't hunt but my buddy said it was extremely windy here and the birds were hemmed up and quiet.
