WHERE DID YOU CATCH HIM AT OTHER THAN IN THE MOUTH LoL THAT IS A STRANGE ONE THERE. I HVE BEEN FISHING THE OCEAN FOR A VERY LONG TOME AND NEVER SEEN ONE OF THEM BUGGERS.

The anal and dorsal fins resemble a mola mola but the caudal fin is not even close. Perhaps a juvenile mola? Would help to know what general area / depth it was caught.

fish was caught at Hydrographers canyon 110 miles offshore southeast of Nantucket in 500 feet of water thanks

blueoceaneyes had it right it is an Atlantic Pomfret/brama brama cought in deep water and going into the broiler tonight!
