Am currently running a 1242 with a Gxm 53 and 175 cHIRP 1 KW transducer. Garmin has the GXM 54 on sale with main feature being specific fish "guestimates". Any users with reviews ? Thanks Jack

you have a GIANT POINT Dave. I only fish this little Albie 5 or 6 times a year offshore grouper fishing. If the 54's only new feature is the fish specific map then I need to help the local guy out right !!
