Your charger needs to be matched to the type batteries you have, i.e. lead acid, AGM or gel cell. Most smart chargers will charge both lead acid and AGM which is the combination that most people have. If you have a place to install it and leave it hooked up so you can just plug it in at the end of the day, it would be the way to go. You might start by looking at the chargers offered through Cabelas, Minn Kota, etc, at least it will give you an idea of what is available for single to 3 battery setups.

^ I have 4 batteries on my boat. The 2 group 27 trolling motor batteries have an onboard charger mounted beside them that trickle charges at 2amps and cuts off when done. I installed a Noco plug on the side of my console so all I have to do is plug in an extension cord at the end of the day to charge. Then the 1 starting + 1 house are hooked to an Add A Battery switch so they're always charged. Since you don't know what you have I do want to say -- I also have a $70 battery charger from wal-mart (I don't remember the brand) for the trucks and boat that has a menu option to choose gel, standard, etc. and whether you want to charge the battery at 2amp or 15amp/marine, auto cuts off when fully charged. It does great.
