The economy isn't what is was a few years ago. I have been getting quite a few questions about "make-up" trips, the answer is yes! Simply send a PM or e-mail me (via our website, www.seapowercharters.com). Let me know about when you would like to fish, how many may come with you (if any), what type trip you are interested in, etc........ Economic times are changing, but folks still like to fish. I have found that it makes for a interesting day with a bunch of fisherman that have never met. They get on the boat individuals and leave as bud's. At any rate, if you'd like to fish the Oregon Inlet area give me a shout. Frank

Hey, Frank

I will have my boat at OI for June the 9th through the 15th. Hoping for some really good weather as I want to take the kids out on there first MAHI killing! I would love to get on the boat with you for a day if possible? I'm all about learning from you expereinced Captians! Let me know your thoughts and we can talk on it. Buddy Boating would also be great if you have a full boat. :wtg:

I'm all about it, sound's like a plan. Would be a great opportunity for you to sit back and enjoy the day, take in what is around you, talk about all kinds of stuff (from the flybridge, down to the deck). Then go back and tailor what you have seen and done to your rig. Once again, I will never say "it's the only way" (no Marty didn't make that up, but he uses it just like I do), but it's worked for us pretty well. One other thing here, the fishing on the North side of Diamond Shoals, is a whole different World. Is it still fishing? Of course it is, just different dynamics. Like I keep preaching, it's "all about paying attention". Would be my pleasure to do whatever we can for ya. Don't know the age of your kid's, but that may be a great opportunity. Frank

:wtg: ... I will reach out to you as we get closer. I have only bottom fished and Striper Fished out of OI before. I have not dedicated my time with trolling but have wanted to learn as much as possible about the entire NC Coast. Some weekends the forcast is doable at OI when I can't get out at MHC or South. The kids are all Girls, 13, 11, 8.... But LOVE TO FISH!!!

Thanks!

Sound's like the gaffer's have shown up in good numbers in the last 2 days out of Hatteras. Not many boats fishing with the wind, but the one's that did had great catches. One boat was limited out and heading back by 11:00 am. It oughta be good when this wind lays out just a bit up this way, the tuna are already here. Frank
