will be down in the New Bern, Wilmington area for a couple of weeks this Feb. Need some advice as to where to do some Fishing, don't have a boat so most of my fishing will be from the shore. Most of my fishing has been done around Jersey Shore, Long Island Sound and New York area. Have extensive amount of equipment and tackle from small bait casting up to off shore rigs. Don't know what to bring any help would be appreciated, would also be willing to split expenses

Not sure of some of the areas you mentioned but believe you will be disappointed compared to LI sound just about anywhere in NC until the Gulf Stream... or at least 20 miles off shore
