New to wilmington and looking to learn the inshore game here. I've got a 22ft Tidewater Carolina Bay with 150 and trolling motor. Looking to meet some cool guys and learn the area.

Check out Cape Fear Anglers fishing club meets this Tues at 6 Inlet Watch..... ICM

June 2019 Cape Fear Anglers Meeting
Will be held on June 18, 2019, at Inlet Watch Yacht Club and Marina 801 Paoli Court at 6:30 Pm.
Our guest speaker will be a fellow member Captain Rod Bierstedt from On My Way Charters. Rod’s topic will be: Nearshore summer Mahi techniques and tactics. This will be geared to the guys with smaller boats that can fish inside the 30-mile range. This will be about a 1-hour presentation. As always Rod has loads of good information to share, and really enjoys sharing his knowledge with everyone. I am personally looking forward to this. Seems that my body can’t take the 13-hour stream trips like it used to (lol), I love to catch and eat Mahi. But taking 1000 milligrams of Advil when I get home is beginning to wear thin.
Dinner is going to be from our caterer, Savor. As usual, it will be a surprise. Cost of dinner will be as always $10.00. Please have exact change for Steve. It is very important that you go to this link https://capefearanglers.com/rsvp.php and respond that you will be attending and if you will be having dinner. The RSVP has changed slightly, and some fields are filled out as default. If you will not be having dinner uncheck the box. After you submit you will be asked to confirm your choices.
If you do not go to the link and sign up for the meeting, then understand that you will not be able to have dinner at the meeting that night.
As always, the public is invited to attend. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me. Please don’t forget to sign in at this link: https://capefearanglers.com/rsvp.php br />
Looking forward to seeing everyone at this very informative meeting. I would suggest bringing a pencil and paper to take notes.
