I find myself in a strange situation.
I finally got another boat (#5 ) but the first on the East coast, and all my fishin' buddies are still out west.
Bottom line, I need some new fishin buds! Especially those willing to share a little local knowledge! (no magic numbers, I'd rather find my own)
I've got a 23' Keywest 2300 WA I keep in Raleigh. I live for offshore when mother nature permits, but am happy being anywhere in the salt.

The drive from Raleigh makes Wilmington or morehead the easiest choices to launch. I left from CBI for the shakedown cruise, and NRI while in Topsail.
I think MHC is next.

Im down in Wilmington so if you are ever headed this way and need an extra or two let me know. love getting offshore but only have an inshore boat right now. I do have a boat slip toward the south end of wrightsville beach so if you want to drop in the night before and have it ready in the water that would be fine.
It's a shame Key West doesn't make the 23' WA anymore. That's a nice rig. I usually fish out of Beaufort or Hatteras from Greenville. Plenty of great folks here.
