These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of SaltwaterCentral.com, the ReefCast mobile application, and other websites, applications, products, and services provided by Saltwater Central, LLC (“Saltwater Central,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Saltwater Central provides marine-related information and services, which may include weather forecasts, marine forecasts, maps, buoy information, fishing information, location-based services, and other informational products.
ReefCast is a marine weather forecasting application intended to provide users with convenient access to marine forecast information.
Features and services may be changed, updated, suspended, or discontinued from time to time.
ReefCast and Saltwater Central services are informational tools and must not be used as the sole source for decisions involving navigation, boating, fishing, weather, or personal safety.
Marine and weather conditions can change rapidly. Forecasts, observations, maps, model data, and other information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable.
Users are responsible for evaluating actual conditions and obtaining appropriate official weather, navigation, safety, and emergency information before and during any boating or offshore activity.
Saltwater Central does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or suitability of any forecast, weather information, map, location information, or other data provided through its services.
Some Saltwater Central services require an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and not to use another person’s account without authorization.
We may restrict or terminate access to accounts used fraudulently, unlawfully, abusively, or in a manner that threatens our services or other users.
If you voluntarily provide a mobile phone number and affirmatively select the unchecked SMS consent checkbox, you agree to receive SMS messages from Saltwater Central at that number for account verification, authentication, recovery, security, and transactional service or purchase notifications, including FISHHere map-ready alerts.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is optional and is not a condition of creating an account, purchasing a product, or using Saltwater Central services that do not require SMS verification.
Saltwater Central does not use this SMS program for advertising or promotional marketing. Opting out of SMS does not prevent you from using Saltwater Central services that do not require SMS verification.

Some ReefCast and Saltwater Central features may require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions purchased through Apple’s App Store are processed and managed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s applicable payment and subscription terms.
Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are processed and managed by Google and are subject to Google’s applicable payment and subscription terms.
Other purchases made directly through Saltwater Central may be processed by our designated payment providers and subject to the terms presented at the time of purchase.
Prices, subscription periods, introductory offers, and available products are displayed at the time of purchase.
Where an automatically renewing subscription is offered, the subscription will continue and renew according to the terms presented by the applicable payment platform unless canceled before renewal.
Users are responsible for managing or canceling App Store subscriptions through their Apple account and Google Play subscriptions through their Google account.
Deleting a ReefCast or Saltwater Central account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google.
Where supported, ReefCast provides a method for users to restore or verify eligible purchases associated with their App Store account.
Restoration does not create a new purchase and is subject to Apple’s App Store rules and the status of the applicable subscription.
You agree not to misuse Saltwater Central services.
You may not intentionally interfere with our systems, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent subscription or access controls, distribute malicious software, scrape or overload our services in a manner that disrupts their operation, or use our services for unlawful purposes.
Saltwater Central websites, applications, software, graphics, branding, forecasts, presentation formats, and other original materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Except where expressly permitted, our services and content may not be reproduced, redistributed, sold, or commercially exploited without authorization.
Third-party data and content remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners or providers.
Saltwater Central and ReefCast may use or link to information, maps, weather information, payment systems, websites, or services provided by third parties.
We do not control all third-party services and cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, security, or continued operation.
Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We work to maintain reliable services, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, equipment or network failures, third-party outages, software problems, weather events, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our control.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Saltwater Central services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not warrant that services will always be available, error-free, accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Saltwater Central, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages resulting from use of or inability to use our services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Certain information may be retained when necessary for legitimate legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory purposes.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions managed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play.
We may update these Terms as our applications, services, business practices, or legal requirements change.
The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page identifies the most recent revision.
Continued use of our services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
