Curious about Barden inlet. Has anyone ran it lately? Is channel marked correctly with markers of any kind? Or marked at all? I’ve never ran it before

It’s never marked well enough if you’ve never run it. The good need is there is always a lot of local traffic running it, just fall in behind some one and realize the drain is very narrow.

Great place to get into trouble if you are not familiar with it. Be careful in that area

Last I heard the Sturn area has filled in quite a bit over winter and is shallow at low tide all the way across the whole channel. If your running anything deep v id be careful in that area especially at low tide.

As of last weekend the s turns are marked pretty well with the stuff the locals put up but the section from Harkers Island to the s turns isnt really marked except by some shoal markers that are pretty far apart. S turns to the cape is marked and deep and not a problem.
