I just purchased 2 more downrigger balls and they are painted Green. I have always used black and never really seen anybody else use a color other than black. Should I repaint them or leave them green?

Paint one and leave the other green. See if the green outfishes the black.
If it does let me know!!!
If it's a darker shade of green, wouldn't see that it would matter. Neon green, then I would paint it.

They are neon green. That's why i was asking. I have read a little about the northern guys painting theirs for salmon but nothing around here so I thought I would ask.

I recently painted mine blue last year. Actually seemed to catch more kings on those than black. Not sure if it was really the color difference or what.
