Have the engine out of the Shamrock to do some work on her but have my 16 foot skiff just itching to get abused..
Thinking of either a trip anywhere between Charleston and Wrightsville Beach as all of those areas are about the same driving distance from home.
Help me decide where to go and what to fish for on Saturday
Wide open for suggestions.. Have tackle for anything near shore from casting to drifting to slow trolling to anchoring or even tying up to bridges where allowed. Live bait, dead bait or artificial.. all options are on the table, help me decide

My two cents...invest in a SC license and give it a shot there. NC inshore is meager at best.

It's supposed to be blowing 10-15 here Saturday. If you decide Charleston is the direction to go, just come on down and leave the skiff at home if you want so that you can return home with all your teeth intact. I can't get as skinny as a skiff but can run all over without getting beat up. I have no plans but could reserve Saturday for fishing, if you're not looking for some solo peace and quiet. Trout bite here is picking up with a couple cold days last week and few more this week. Water temp probably dropping another degree or two in the next 1-2 days.
