I think it's still not working. When I click 'New Forum Posts' I get 'no matches'

It does work. The issue is....It only works once.
Example....
You come to the site and click "New Posts"
You will get all the posts since your LAST VISIT.
You click one on of the posts.....
You go read the post.....
Then click on "New Posts"
You get nothing.
WHY?
Because no one posted since your last visit (Just a minute ago)
This is tied to your sessions. It is not a simple fix and I will have to think about it.
In the mean time you can come to the site....click on "New Posts"
Then instead on directly clicking on the post....RIGHT CLICK on the post....and open it in a new tab. Then when you close the tab....the rest of the list is still there.
Why is this hard to fix?
How do I know if the last time you came was 1 min ago or 6 hours ago?
Well you do that vie what is called sessions.
I can and do track sessions but and here is where it gets tricky....let say you come and click New Posts and the phone rings....and then you walk outside for a smoke....and then run to the store for some butter.....and then come back and sit down and click on New Posts. Do I show you the New posts from before you opened this window? or from when you last left the site till now. Did you close the browser window or are you in a separate tab?
You can see where this becomes very complicated very quickly.
Ya'll see a lot of this stuff as a wave of a magic wand. It is not..it takes a LOT of time, energy and effort.
So for the moment....
In the mean time you can come to the site....click on "New Posts"
Then instead on directly clicking on the post....RIGHT CLICK on the post....and open it in a new tab. Then when you close the tab....the rest of the list is still there.

This drives me nuts...
I look at new posts, open one up, then go back to new posts to read the next one and they're all gone...
Have to remember to open each one in a new tab.
How about you discard 'last read' time for the last hour.

Thanks Dave, today I immediately went to "New Posts" and it said no matches? However this post had multiple responses - but did not register as a new post.

I don't see a 'New Posts' button until I click on >National Forum and > All forums. Then all the new posts are gone. Not sure what I'm doing wrong

The one of the top right of the forum seems to be working for me....
It is even holding it while I view other threads and come back to it.

Exactly same thing I'm seeing/doing with same result.
Dave no doubt we're probably doing something wrong - it worked great when there was an actual "New Post" button on the left menu, but like Wes says.. only way I see one now is after actually getting into a forum.
