Hi gang.
Just curious if any knows of any farms that host dove hunts near Apex / Raleigh.
I haven't dove hunted in years, and really want to try it this year.

Allen Brothers (https://allenbrothersoutdoors.com/dove/) is the only place I've had much experience with. It's a nice facility, which is partly why it's pretty pricey. Had a crappy early season hunt there last year... no fault of theirs, but the birds just weren't here. Made for an expensive sit in a hot, rainy field.

Gotta be some game lands around Apex. Go and scout the area for a good field or fly-way, that's part of the fun. We used to have a blast dove hunting over burnt ground cut downs, the birds would fly tree top high over the cut down and make for fun shots, the burnt/black ground would make easy finding them once down. But they weren't landing in that spot, just flying over, best spot ever. Put in a little time scouting around. You have me wanting to break out the 1100
