what's up with the huge yacht anchored in rich inlet. can't imagine how someone could have gotten that boat in the inlet from the backside or ocean side.

I saw that boat over there also as I was riding down the icw and was wondering the same thing.

Not sure it’s anchored there on purpose. Buddy of mine was a Rich’ inlet on Saturday and said it ran aground. Maybe they misjudged and thought was MBI.

We did a quick run around it on Sunday. They weren't aground. Most of the inlet between the two island is about 5'-10' deep. They were sitting right in the 25' trench. How it got there, however, I have no idea. Like said above, coming in from the ocean would be pretty sketchy if that thing drafts more than about 5ft. Nixon Channel isn't much more promising.
PS: Boat is named T-Zero, and is a 125' charter boat out of Georgetown, Cayman Islands. Website says it drafts 7'. Yikes.
