Anyone know a good reliable and reasonable mobile marine mechanic?
The one I have been using for the past 17 years (up to 4 boats at one time) no longer returns my calls or texts and the new one I'm trying doesn't show up when he says he is coming and doesn't call to let me know.
I pay my bills, don't haggle and try to beat someone up over price, and will be a loyal customer to someone who treats me right.
I'm in the service business too, so I know what they are up against.
Thanks

This is not an advertisement, just FYI for someone who might need help like I did.
I have been dealing with difficult to diagnose problems on two different boats for the past 6-8 months.
My regular mechanic quit returning my calls and abandoned me on both issues.
I tried two other services and no one could help me or told me I needed a 6K dollars plus fuel tank replacement on one boat. The other boat had the water pump kit put in it but it was still running hot.
Bottom line, this guy came to my house and fixed both issues with superior quality and attention to detail.
He has a strong background in automotive mechanics and is Yamaha certified.

Barry Turano - I tried to respond to your PM but it wouldn't go through. But thanks for the info, I wasn't aware of the situation.

Thanks for sharing the contact information. I'm hoping I won't need a mechanic anytime soon, but you never know. Good to have a resource.
