If you are on Instagram, there is a page called "The Qualified Captain"....basically pics and videos of people who didn't do such smart things with boats. That pic was posted on it.....and WB tends to be on it quite often for some reason.

They got it on the trailer around midnight. I thought it might float, or at least slide, at high tide, judging by the tide lines on the seawall. I didn't see how they did it, it was on the ramp, and 30 minutes later when I looked again, it was on the trailer at the top of the ramp.

The guys tow strap parted when he was launching. Just a reminder to make sure ya'll check EVERYTHING before you trailer your boats. Imagine if this happen on I-40!

It looked like a new rig for the strap to be breaking. It must have had some kind of plastic on the bunks to make it slide so easy?

Boat was fairly new. New to the guy launching it but the trailer not so new if you know what I mean.

Would sea tow or tow boats cover that?

Why have rollers instead of bunk boards? Seems to be a common occurence. I saw a brand new CC roll right off the trailer on Carolina Beach Rd. a few years back. Seems like bunk boards work fine, and your boat won't so easily slide off of them...
