Went to the Keys several weeks ago to warm up and wet a hook with my good friend Capt. Dave Peck in Islamorada. Broke a sweat in the backcountry catching snook, reds, and trout. Focused on Permit on the ocean side and was lucky enough to go one for two each day on two trips floating crabs ... largest was about 25#. Sure hated to leave and come home to cold weather but it was a nice Christmas present to myself. Tight lines.
