We fished the Open KMT a couple weeks back and the pogies were everywhere on the beach in Oak Island. This past week, in the Rumble in the Jungle tournament, they had disappeared. Anyone found where they moved off to? Had a friend make a run all the way to Murrells Inlet and back from OKI just to find bait. We will be fishing again next weeks tournament and would much rather have live bait if possible. It might be info some might want to keep to themselves but I'll take any intel I can get.

Wednesday 10/13/2021 no pogies off Oak Island but there were greenies.

We fished yesterday and found pogies in 12' on the Cape Fear River side of Oak Island Peer. My buddy was a beginner at net throwing, and got a net full on the second cast. From pogie reports I guess we were lucky.
However, we were not as lucky on the Kings....... we got the big striped kitty on that one. Oh well, that's why they call it "fishing", not "catching".

Spent 2 hours in front of Harkers Island, did not see the first flip, left empty and went Spanish fishing.
